Commissioning

Commissions begin with a conversation about your ideas. From here we can bring to light an image of your piece, talking through materials, design references and details until our collaboration settles upon all of your ideals.

Bespoke pieces can be adapted from my own designs, or from entirely new boundaries created by you. Each piece will vary in price depending on size and material and requires a 50% deposit to begin the making process, in which the remaining 50% will be paid before delivering the piece.

If you do have an idea in mind on a piece, please do get in touch as I love speaking with people about their projects and my process in helping them become a reality.

Process

Every piece of furniture is made by my hands in St Albans, just north of London. Made using traditional hand tools - many of which that have been passed down through my family - that imbue a warmth into every piece. Every detail is meticulously cared for to create an heirloom piece that will last a lifetime, able to be handed down through generations to come.

Every piece is available in a range of timbers and can be also be tailored with a bespoke finish. Every finish is of course unique and will age differently over time depending on what timber it is paired and the nature of the finish, this is all part of the conversation within the design process.

I am currently working to a 6 week lead time. Larger individual pieces or batch work may require this to be extended, this will be communicated if necessary. If you’re working to a tighter deadline than this, please let me know and I will do all I can to facilitate your project to your needs.
